About Jason Hodges
I'm Jason, a certified CoActive coach and lawyer. I kept thinking the next role, the next pivot, or the next “better version” of the same job would give me the sense of purpose I was missing. I thought fitting a job to my personality type, whatever that means, was the key to reaching my potential. It never did.
What finally changed me wasn’t work at all it was everything in between work. The gaps in my résumé. The things I used to feel guilty for doing because they weren’t “productive”: improv, dance, learning Spanish, long mornings on the river with my dog, breathwork, golf, travel, jiu-jitsu, real conversations with strangers, those were the places I actually grew into who I could be. Those were the places I found courage, clarity, presence, and a version of myself I actually respected.
That’s the same process I guide men through now. It's not about blowing up their lives, but helping them build the parts that make life worth living, the parts most men accidentally neglect.

Empowering Your Journey
Approach
In our work together, the focus isn’t on “fixing” you or chasing some abstract idea of maturity.
The work is about consistent, deliberate actions that build the courage, restraint, and clarity a man needs to create a life he actually respects. To get closer to reaching his potential.
This isn’t therapy, and it isn’t hype.
It's practical maturity.
Now, here are the tools:
-
CoActive coaching
-
Self-Actualization theory (Scott Barry Kaufman)
-
Structured breathwork
-
Selective hypnosis-informed tools
These aren’t gimmicks or buzzwords. They’re used to build practical maturity
-
Responsibility
-
Emotional steadiness
-
Self-command
-
Real-world follow-through
It’s practical maturity created through deliberate, courageous action.
Our Philosophy
“Maturity” is one of the most misused words in the personal development world.
I define it simply: the ability to act with intention without leaking your own internal processes. So many people, my former self included, allow their actions to be dictated by a desire to release pressure. Working with me gets a handle on that.
My coaching blends grounded conversation with action-based challenges that build courage, self-command, and emotional stability.
The goal isn’t to make you “perfect,” or to force you into a traditional life script — girlfriend, marriage, career ladder, or anything else.
The goal is to help you develop a mindset and way of living that feels clear, satisfying, and self-directed, whatever that looks like for you.
A man who knows how to act with intention — and follow through — becomes dangerous in the best possible way.
That’s what you’re learning to build, a grounded, self-directed life you actually respect.
